Hi,
My husband and I are members of the Nature Society. Our daughter's Kindergarten class at xxx School is studying the life cycle of the butterfly at the moment. Her teacher is trying to source some caterpillars for the class to keep in a terrarium, so that the kids may witness their transformation, but her usual suppliers (the Butterfly Kingdom and Zoo) no longer handle caterpillars. I was told by the Butterfly Kingdom that they now import non-Singaporean pupa as it is difficult for them to keep enough plants to feed local caterpillars.
Do you have any suggestions where she could find some common local caterpillars and an easily obtainable supply of leaves?
Thank you and Regards,
Camille XXX
