I would very much appreciate any help in identifying this species from Fraser’s Hill (June, 2005). The closest match I have found, browsing the internet, is Horsfield's Baron.
Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely

From The Butterfly Guys
Dear Michael, The butterfly in your picture is the male Tanaecia julii bougainvillei, The Common Earl. It is a montane butterfly and usually found above 2000 feet. Unlike the other blue Tanaecia, the blue colour border on this species is confined to the hindwing.
The female of this species is all brown on the upprside.
Regards
BG
